How to Join the Alliance

Join us at the Low Sodium Helldivers discord. We post FA community event announcements on the #freedom-alliance-news channel, including trailers, promos, events, and more. Once you’re in that server, you’re done – welcome to the Alliance!

If you want your clan or community to join the Freedom Alliance, keep reading.

How your Clan can Join the Alliance

First, go to the channel #freedom-alliance-news on the Low Sodium Helldivers discord. Then:

1. Tap the Follow button on that channel to send the announcements to a channel on your own server. Pay attention to your channel – we send all FA news through there.
2. Commit to upholding the Alliance principles of Liberty, Integrity, & Service. Every 6-8 weeks, a community-wide Alliance Order is issued, so plan to participate in those if you can.
3. Done – you are now considered an Alliance faction!
4. Optional: Go to media and find ready-to-use Alliance graphics, logos, etc and your artists can work them into a “we have joined the Alliance” image to engage your community.

After joining, the #alliance-chat channel on the Low Sodium Helldivers discord is where you can chat with other Freedom Alliance members, or ask questions.

The Alliance is not like a clan, where individual groups have to be approved by some authority: this means we will never tell you how your clan should operate day-to-day. That power always stays with your leadership. Instead, the Alliance is a collective that anyone can pledge to support, that will send out community events that you can participate in however your clan wants.

If you have the channel receiving updates on your discord, you’ll start to receive materials, posters, trailers, and event notifications you can use for your clan activities as you see fit. Every 6-8 weeks, we launch these fully crafted “Alliance Orders” complete with trailers, movie-quality posters, and a call to action for you to participate.

These are what will go to your new announcement channel, and what you can design limited-time clan activities around: for example, like offering “operation medal” Roles to members who participate, or tracking your clan’s stats as they complete the objectives.

The Alliance does not endorse individual clans or groups. We cannot review or officially sanction any groups as Alliance members. If you pledge to support Alliance events, it is of your own volition, and we do not discriminate who participates. By the same token, we cannot recognize anyone as “official” Alliance clans; this is up to each clan to state in their own way, and is not something the Alliance can confirm or approve case by case.
